People Finance S.A Awarded Best Financial Institution at the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention 2025

People Finance S.A (PeFi) proudly secured the Best Financial Institution Award during the 6th edition of the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention 2025, marking a major milestone in its institutional journey.

The prestigious award was presented during the official closing ceremony held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Yaoundé Conference Center, in the presence of the Prime Minister, represented by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education (MINJEC).

The event brought together high-level institutional stakeholders, United Nations system representatives, financial institutions, and awardees from all ten regions of Cameroon. It served as a platform to formally recognize People Finance S.A’s outstanding contribution to youth empowerment and entrepreneurship development.

As a second-category microfinance institution, People Finance S.A has steadily established itself as a key player in Cameroon’s financial sector through a model built on proximity, innovation, and sustainability. Its continued support to farmers, breeders, traders, entrepreneurs, and other economic actors reflects a strong commitment to inclusive local development.

This distinction particularly acknowledges People Finance S.A’s role in supporting young project holders, notably through the Youth Guarantee Fund (FOGAJEUNE). By offering tailored financing mechanisms and structured technical support, the institution has enabled the creation and growth of numerous high-impact entrepreneurial initiatives.

The award was officially received by the Managing Director, Dr. Dinamou Aggée, from Minister Mounouna Foutsou, amid warm applause from the audience and a highly mobilized People Finance S.A team.
